Carrol Tronson

Carrol Lindsay Tronson passed away on May 29, 2009 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital in
Plentywood surrounded by her family, after a 12 year battle with cancer.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 3, at 2:00 PM at the Medicine Lake Fire
Hall.  The remains have been cremated and burial at Medicine Lake Cemetery will take
    place at a later date.

She was born May 17, 1944 to Warren Lindsay and Erma Marchant Lindsay and was the
youngest of 8 children.  She entered this world in humble fashion, being housed in a
dresser drawer at the hospital because they had no more beds.  Carrol was raised on a
farm in Lovell, Wyoming and always enjoyed playing with the animals, which she continued
to do throughout her life.  She attended school in Lovell and Greybull and went to work as a
waitress at age 13 after her father passed away.

Carrol tried other professions, but enjoyed working at the café most of all because she could
keep busy cooking and waiting on others and still be able to associate with those around
her. Carrol married Donald DeWayne Tronson on June 1, 1966 at the LDS chapel in
    Billings.

While in Billings, Don and Carrol purchased a 10 acre farm and had twin boys (Ted and Brad) and a baby girl (Janice).  Don's father
passed away in 1972 and at that time Don and Carrol decided to move to Medicine Lake to begin working the farm.  They built a new
house in 1973 and then completed the family in 1974 with the addition of a baby girl (Wendy).

Carrol spent countless hours serving others.  While her children were young, Carrol was the organizational leader of the Rough-Riders
4-H club and served as Band Mothers President as well as helping out with Boy Scouts, music, sports and other activities.  Later in life
she helped organize the Sheridan County Daybreakers Geneology Club and spent many hours working on cemetery records and helped
to build the Sheridan's Daybreak III.

Carrol was an active member of the LDS Church and loved to read and ponder the scriptures.  She was instrumental in teaching her
family good Christian values and served her church well as a Relief Society President and Sunday school teacher.  Carrol remained
faithful to her church throughout her life.

Carrol was dedicated to her family and loved to spend time with them as often as she could.  She enjoyed having family gatherings and
also enjoyed traveling with them to see new places.  She will be missed by her family and all the good friends that she made during life
here on Earth.

She was preceded in death by her parents (Warren, Erma), brothers (Bob, Grant, Kent), and sister (Louise).  She is survived by her
husband Don (Medicine Lake, MT), of 43 years, her four children Ted (Provo, UT), Brad (Lehi, UT), Janice (Orem, UT), Wendy (Springville,
UT); eleven grandchildren; and her three sisters: Gae (Delano, MN), Myrna (Billings, MT), and Elaine (Greybull, WY).
